Space Cowboys

The best thing about this movie is the ten seconds of *N Sync’s hit number “Space Cowboy.” The rest of the movie is just plain ludicrous (one could even say retarded, if only it were politically correct), which might be okay if it were also whimsical, exciting, touching – but it isn’t. Not even a little. Part one is an unfunny old timers unite again sort of thing. Part two is a confused space adventure. Clint Eastwood, James Garner, Donald Sutherland, and Tommy Lee Jones must have needed cash for new swimming pools or something, because they all look bored as hell – although not quite as much as the audience. Bad acting, bad screenplay, bad camera work, bad editing. This one’s the pits. With a why yi yi yippie yi yay with a why yi yippie yi yo.
